Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Inovasi Fisika dan Edukasi (Journal of Physics Innovation and Education) is firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. To ensure the originality and authenticity of submitted works, every manuscript is subjected to plagiarism screening using reputable detection software such as Turnitin or iThenticate prior to peer review.
1. Acceptable Similarity Index

The maximum acceptable similarity index is 20% (excluding references, quotes, and bibliography).

Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be automatically rejected or returned to the authors for revision prior to the peer-review stage.
2. Forms of Plagiarism
Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:

Direct Plagiarism: Copying text without quotation or proper citation.

Self-Plagiarism: Republishing one’s own previously published work without disclosure or acknowledgment.

Mosaic Plagiarism: Borrowing phrases or ideas without proper attribution, even if rewritten.

3. Editorial Action

If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be returned to the author or rejected outright.

If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and announce the retraction publicly.

Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be blacklisted and barred from submitting future manuscripts.
4. Author Responsibility
It is the responsibility of all authors to ensure that their submitted work is entirely original and properly cited. Authors must also acknowledge the work of others that has influenced their research.
This policy is implemented to maintain the academic credibility, ethical standards, and international reputation of Jurnal Inovasi Fisika dan Edukasi, and to foster a culture of honest and responsible scholarship in the fields of physics and physics education.
